The Bibliothèque Droit et Lettres is the INAthèque consultation center: an exceptional audiovisual and cinematographic heritage to discover.
INAthèque
The collections available for consultation cover a large part of the memory of the 20th century in recorded images and sounds. They include the programs of public radio and television (80 years of radio and 70 years of television), content collected under legal deposit since 1995, and since 2009, content from over 14,500 media websites.
Designed for independent consultation, INAthèque workstations provide access via an intuitive search interface:
in documentary research, to the descriptive notices of all the collections of the Institut national de l'audiovisuel and to the film references of the CNC's digitized collections.
viewing and listening: to digitized TV, radio and Web media available on the server, 1 day after broadcast.
In practice
The INAthèque can be consulted at two special workstations, subject to registration with the Bibliothèque Droit et Lettres.
Go to the information desk on the 1st floor, or the one on the 3rd floor, to fill in an accreditation form.
No prior reservation is necessary; simply leave your library card with us for the duration of the consultation.
Multimedia workstations are set up to provide access to the INAthèque content, for consultation only. It is forbidden to download onto USB memory sticks, or to take photographs or videos from the INAthèque.
Search data will be automatically deleted after half an hour if the user is inactive. If necessary, activate the "Clear my tracks" button to reset the search screen.
