Among the documents held in university libraries, you can request digitization:
royalty-free works - for a work to be royalty-free, its authors and contributors must have been dead for 70 years or more;
issues of periodicals over 70 years old.
Documents are digitized unless their physical condition does not allow this, or unless they are already freely available online.
How do I apply?
Due to the summer break, the On-Demand Digitization Service will be closed from July 10 to August 25. Requests submitted during this period will be processed when the service reopens.
Within three working days, you will receive an e-mail indicating whether your request has been accepted. The turnaround time (digitization) is four to eight weeks. You will be notified of any delays.
