Certain types of documents (magazines, competition collections, etc.) have a specific lending policy :
University library Law and Letters: current-year magazines may be borrowed for 1 week, renewable 1 time, in unlimited numbers, with the following exceptions;
University library Joseph-Fourier: sports magazines may be borrowed for 1 week, non-renewable;
University library Medicine-Pharmacy: books in the Usuals room can only be borrowed in the evening (5 hours before closing and until 10am the following day) or at weekends;
University library Professorat Education: books to prepare for competitive examinations (annals) can be borrowed for 1 week, non-renewable;
University library Rodolphe-Pesce: DVDs can be borrowed (unlimited number) and are non-renewable. They can be reserved in case of a current loan. Magazines can be borrowed in unlimited numbers (except for the latest issue) for a period of 4 weeks for L students and external readers, and 6 weeks for M and D students, UDS and staff. They cannot be reserved.
You are responsible for the documents borrowed on your card.. If your card is lost or stolen, please report it promptly to the library reception desk.
Loans can be accumulated between Université Grenoble Alpes libraries.
How can you extend your loans?
please contact the reception desk at University library ;
make the extension yourself online, by logging in to your reader account on Beluga.
Extensions are not possible if your documents are overdue, if you are on loan suspension or if another user has reserved the document you borrowed.
The document you need is already on loan? Reserve it now!
search for the document you are interested in in Beluga;
log in to your reader account (top right of the beluga home page) ;
click on the "Book" button (bottom of the screen).
As soon as the document is returned, you are notified by e-mail to your university mailbox. The document is set aside for you for 7 days and must be collected from the library reception desk.

What you need to know
If you are late in returning your documents, you will be suspended for a period equal to the number of days you are late.
In accordance with the library' s rules and regulations, you will be required to replace any lost or damaged documents.
