Mindfulness… for Better Stress Management in College Life
Mindfulness practices involve training ourselves to focus our attention on the present moment. We often tend to dwell on the negative aspects of the day or worry anxiously about the future, and we sometimes miss out on the present. The attentional skills developed through
mindfulness practices therefore improve both our ability to concentrate and our well-being, as they reduce the tendency to have negative thoughts going round and round in our heads and to worry about the future.

Mindfulness promotes the development of skills that are useful throughout life. It is associated with greater self-confidence, better
ability to manage stress and emotions, and improved attention and interpersonal skills.

We invite you to reconnect with your inner resources!
